Cartoons shows have inspired kids to grow up to be cartoonists
Cartoons have enthralled everyone since a very young age. Some of these shows have inspired kids to buy toys and other collectibles and immortalize these characters in their life. Some people grow up cherishing memories by keeping their collections safe while some give it up totally. These shows have inspired a lot of kids to study art and take it up at the same time. There are many kids who have grown up to be cartoonists with leading media and newspaper dailies. Somehow compared to cartoons in the 80s where leading characters were very male dominated. This trend slowly changed in the 90s where cartoons focused more on female empowerment.
Popular television series like Xena warrior princess and movies like Alien and Avatar had characters that projected the female strength. These series and movies were turned into cartoons to cater to the younger generation. This form of entertainment also made good television for women. Little girls enjoy shows like the power puff girls because it inspires them to feel powerful and the style of characterization followed is very simple. Some cartoons haven’t worked for one simple reason and that is because they are too graphically intense and younger audiences are unable to grasp the concept. Some of the very popular shows like Tom and Jerry, the Simpsons, Family Guy and mainly others have been redefined as classics because they have a simple underlying concept that is based around humor and how the audience can relate to the character.
