ConnectU Rested in the Hands of Colleagues
Conceptualizing an idea of global proportions is a great endeavor for everyone. In fact, many minds would like to have an idea or concept that can be appreciated and applied all over the world, by different races and cultures. Imaging how happy inventors might be when they see how their innovations have benefited the lives of so many people in different nations of the world. The Winklevoss Twins have been one of those many aspirants.
However, their concept was never imagined or dreamed. It actually came into existence with the vision of having Harvard students being connected with one another, being friends, sharing messages, and providing status updates about their lives. You may think that we are talking about the twins being associated in creating Facebook, but it is not the case. In fact, the twins only had Mark Zuckerberg working with them as a programmer for developing ConnectU, Harvard’s social networking account.
It cannot be denied that the twins had limited expertise in programming, which is why they relied to college friends and colleagues in referring programmers that can help them make their dream a reality. Connect U has been made with the assistance of many minds and skills. With Zuckerberg gaining all the reputation for an idea that has been with the twins, in the first place, they cannot be blamed for seeking justice with an idea stolen from them, taking profit and gain the world over. It is a sad fate that the fame of one site had to rest in the hands of colleagues.
