Provide Intervention During a Downward Spiral
Have you ever heard of the Downward Spiral? If you are a concerned parent or relative trying to understand a loved one who happens to be an addict, you should know that it is never about the reason why a person decided to get hooked but rather, it is about answering the question of why and how situations came to be that way. That is the concept of the Downward Spiral: it is a state a certain person reaches when he or she indulges himself or herself in addictive substances. That is why, when you find that someone dear to you has fallen deep and hard, you will need to consider enrolling him or her in facilities offering addiction treatment programs or in drug rehabilitation centers to cure him as well as make him realize that his misery can never be solved through drug or substance abuse.
