How to Improve One’s Soccer Fitness
Soccer Fitness is the backbone of any player of soccer. Simply, without appropriate fitness, the performance of a player on the field will not be good. Soccer Fitness will also protect the player against many injuries which is another reason the player should put a big effort into it.
Fitness is also important if you want to become an excellent soccer player. Only players who are in good physical condition can be expected to do better. There are two ways that the physical fitness is measured namely aerobic and anaerobic.
Aerobic simply entails lots of oxygen intake and gives the heart and lungs exercises. This part of fitness examination will determine the level at which the player can breathe in and use oxygen to give the player more power to carry out an action. Walking for example doesn’t put immense pressure on the body and most people will at least be able to walk a small number of hundred yards without getting tired.
Jogging is a form of aerobic movement where the player will be able to carry on without getting too exhausted. The body works at a rate that merely means that the player will not get completely out of breath.
There will be an increased level at which exhaustion and tiredness will happen due to aerobic exercises. The heart and lungs become more efficient to use. This simply means that you can run faster and longer before tiring.
Anaerobic is totally intense. Sprint is one thing in common anaerobic activities. When a person sprints the body works at the level where it cannot supply enough oxygen and your muscles can not get energy by burning glycogen. You cannot work at that level for a long time before getting out of breath. Anaerobic exercises will train the body to become more efficient to use glycogen stored in the fuel, but also help deal with oxygen debt.
